Continued price declines for greenhouse grown flower pushed the Oregon Cannabis Spot Index down 4.9% per pound this week. This is the fifth week of falling prices for greenhouse flower transactions, and the lowest state index since mid-May. Despite bulk flower prices across all grow types slightly increasing, the state-level bulk flower price fell by 3.0% due to more transactions and volume of outdoor grown flower in bulk form being traded in relation to flower from the other, higher priced grow types.
The Washington Cannabis Spot Index fell by 5.5% per pound this week. The state index declined despite prices across all grow types increasing marginally. With an increase in the total volume of transactions for outdoor grown flower being traded, likely to eliminate old inventory ahead of the fall harvest, minor grow type price increases were insignificant when aggregated at the state level.
