
The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased by 4.5% to $1,146 per pound.
In grams, the Spot price was $2.53.
After declining for 5 straight weeks, the Nevada Cannabis Spot Index turned things around and increased by 8.7% per pound this week. A 9.7% increase in the price for greenhouse grown flower led the rebound, with a 2.8% increase for indoor grown flower prices also contributed. Despite this week’s positive movement, the July average price per pound sits 17.4% below the June average price and 7.8% below the 2025 year-to-date average.
The New Mexico Cannabis Spot Index stumbled this week, falling by 10.0% per pound. Declining prices for both indoor and outdoor grown flower were reported, with losses of 4.7% and 3.9%, respectively. Prices for bulk flower transactions lost 7.1%, while those for prepackaged flower products fell 6.6%.
The Pennsylvania Cannabis Spot Index gained 10.0% per pound this week. The July average price closes down 7.8% below the June average price per pound. After an average price over $1,700 per pound in 2024, the state index has been on a roller coaster in 2025 with no signs of major relief from the current downward pricing pressure.

August 2025 Implied Forward assessed up $15 to $1,050 per pound.
At $1,050 per pound, the August Implied Forward represents a discount of 8.4% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $1,146 per pound. Historically, the greatest price volatility has occurred during the pre- and post-harvest months spanning September through January. In 2024, the high was $1,072 in January, and the low was $923 in December.
