Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Spot Price History & Forward Curve January 9, 2026

The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index decreased 1.6% to $1,072 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.36.


After declining for three weeks in a row, the Massachusetts Cannabis Spot Index saw an increase of 7.8% per pound. Both indoor and greenhouse grown flower prices were on the rise, by 8.2% and 9.9% respectively, driving the state index rebound.

After reaching an all-time low to open 2026, the Missouri Cannabis Spot Index gained 8.6% per pound. Greenhouse grown flower prices increased by 7.5% this week after steadily declining throughout December, removing the downward pricing pressure on the state index. Indoor grown flower prices also increased this week, gaining 2.0% per pound.

The Oregon Cannabis Spot Index declined for the third week in a row, losing 13.2% per pound. Large volumes of bulk outdoor grown flower priced in the $150 – $250 range continue to have major impacts on the state index as well as prices for both indoor and greenhouse grown flower. The state indoor index fell by 4.9%, while the state greenhouse index suffered a 13.3% loss this week.

February 2026 Implied Forward assessed down $5 to $1,115 per pound.

At $1,115 per pound, the February 2026 Implied Forward represents a premium of 4.0% relative to the current U.S. Spot Index of $1,072 per pound.
