The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased 0.1% to $991 per pound.
In grams, the Spot price was $2.18.
The U.S. Spot Index was nominally unchanged, with a 0.1% increase to $991 per pound. A 4.3% decrease in the outdoor flower index was offset by smaller percentage increases in higher priced indoor and greenhouse flower. The weight of outdoor flower in the Index was nominally unchanged. The proportion from indoor decreased roughly 2.5% and was matched by a commensurate increase in the weight of greenhouse flower in the Index.
Wholesale prices in Oklahoma demonstrated upward movement this week, climbing 8.6% on the back of strengthening indoor grown flower prices. Despite this week’s gains, the Oklahoma Cannabis Spot Index is down 10.3% compared to the opening week of Q3 2024.
After a 6-week run of climbing indoor cannabis flower prices in Nevada, the Nevada Indoor Spot Price saw its second week in a row of declining prices, losing 3.1% per pound. Greenhouse grown flower prices in the state also declined this week, falling 6.8%. This week marks the lowest weekly price assessment for Nevada greenhouse grown flower since the first week in February 2023.
All grow types in Montana experienced declines in wholesale pricing this week, pushing the state composite price down 3.8% per pound. Both indoor and greenhouse grown flower fell 4.3% to open the month of September.
March 2025 Implied Forward Initially Assessed at $990 per pound.
At $1,015 per pound, the October Implied Forward represents a premium of 2.5% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $991 per pound.
