The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased by 2.3% to $971 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.14.


The Alaska Cannabis Spot Index increased by 4.6% per pound this week as both indoor and greenhouse grown flower prices climbed. Indoor cannabis flower prices in the state jumped up 7.2%, with bulk indoor flower transaction prices gaining 6.9% and prepackaged indoor flower prices rising 4.3%. Outdoor flower prices in the state fell by 4.2%.

Wholesale cannabis flower prices in Illinois were on the rise this week after declining for three straight weeks, gaining 3.5% per pound. Yet the state index remains 6.7% lower than the 2025 average price per pound, and the May average price is 10.7% lower than the April average price per pound.

A sizable downward swing in outdoor and greenhouse cannabis flower prices in Oregon drove the state index down 20.2% per pound, nearing the all-time low state price assessment set in early April 2019. Outdoor grown flower prices declined by 21.8% week-to-week, while greenhouse flower prices lost 17.4% per pound. A run on very low priced sungrown flower may be an indicator that outdoor cultivators are liquidating inventory to bolster capital as the 2025 crop gets planted.

June 2025 Implied Forward unchanged at $975 per pound.

At $975 per pound, the June Implied Forward represents a premium of 0.4% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $971 per pound.
