The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased by 5.6% to $1,011 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.23.


A surge in prices for all grow types pushed the California Cannabis Spot Index up 11.1% per pound this week. Indoor prices experienced the largest gain, up 13.8%, driven by a 6.7% rise in prices for bulk transactions while prepackaged indoor flower product prices fell 1.6%. The same trend of rising bulk flower prices and declining prepackaged flower prices were demonstrated for greenhouse and outdoor flower as well.

The Oregon Cannabis Spot Index climbed 5.5% per pound this week on the back of a strong resurgence of indoor flower pricing. The indoor price assessment increased 14% per pound. The greenhouse and outdoor indices both declined marginally, each down $4 per pound for the week.

Wholesale cannabis flower prices in Rhode Island had a resurgence this week, gaining 18.6% per pound. Transactions for prepackaged flower priced in the top quartile had an overwhelming effect on the state composite price, starting the month of March off 13.4% higher than the February average.

September 2025 Implied Forward initially assessed at $955 per pound.

In 2024, the U.S. Spot Index averaged $967 in September, down 3.3% from $1,000 in August. At $975 per pound, the March Implied Forward represents a discount of 3.5% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $1,011.
