Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Spot Price History & Forward Curve March 27, 2026

The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased 1.3% to $1,016 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.24.


The Delaware Cannabis Spot Index increased by 5.0% per pound this week, reaching the highest position the state index has held since the first week in January. The gains lifted the March average price per pound 0.1% above the February average.

Wholesale cannabis flower prices in Illinois fell by 5.3% per pound to close the week. This marks an all-time low for the Illinois Cannabis Spot Index. The current state index sits 11.8% below the 2026 YTD average price per pound.

The New Jersey Cannabis Spot Index rose 6.1% per pound this week. The state index increase was mainly due to a reduction in bulk greenhouse flower priced in the lower quartile that had higher trading levels during the previous weeks. After reaching an all-time low three weeks ago, this is the first significant gain the state index has made.


U.S. Wholesale Cannabis Spot Index for March 27, 2026

April 2026 Implied Forward unchanged at $1,060 per pound.

At $1,060 per pound, the April 2026 Implied Forward represents a premium of 4.4% relative to the current U.S. Spot Index of $1,016 per pound.
