Wholesale cannabis flower prices in Illinois fell 6.9% per pound to close the week. Since the opening week of 2025 the state price assessment had climbed 18.9% prior to this week’s decline. The 2025 average price is now 3.5% higher than that of 2024.
Prices for both indoor and greenhouse grown flower in Maine saw declines this week, pushing the Maine Cannabis Spot Index down 3.3% per pound this week. Falling prices for transactions of bulk flower were the primary driver, with bulk greenhouse flower product prices falling 11.2%, and prices for bulk indoor flower products losing 5.6%.
Despite a slight reduction in prices across all grow types, a shift in the total number and volume of transactions for each grow type resulted in the New Mexico Cannabis Spot Index increasing 3.3% per pound this week. For the year, the average state price assessment is down 21.6% from the 2024 average.
April 2025 Implied Forward unchanged at $975 per pound.
At $975 per pound, the April Implied Forward represents a discount of 1.6% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $991 per pound. The actual average prices for March and April in 2024 were $1,025 and $1,017, respectively.
