The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased by 3.2% to $1,068 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.35.


The Washington D.C. Cannabis Spot Index increased by 5.8% per pound this week. A 6.9% rise in prices for prepackaged flower was solely responsible for the gain. This marks the highest price assessment of the year for the district and is 8.1% higher than the 2025 average.

Wholesale prices for cannabis flower grown in all environments in Massachusetts decreased this week, pushing the state composite price down 3.3% per pound. A sell-off of bulk outdoor grown flower priced in the lower quartile pushed the Massachusetts Outdoor Cannabis Index down a staggering 29.1% per pound. A 1.9% decline for indoor flower prices along with greenhouse grown flower prices falling 8.6% contributed to the decline at the state level.

The New Jersey Cannabis Spot Index has remained relatively steady over the last five weeks, fluctuating within a $41 range during that time. This week the state index dipped slightly by 0.3% per pound. Indoor grown flower prices have held steady since we introduced the New Jersey price assessments at the end of April of this year. Greenhouse grown flower prices have experienced a much more volatile path, with weekly price assessments traversing an over $400 spread between the high and low since late April. This week the New Jersey Greenhouse Cannabis Spot Index increased by 1.6% per pound.


Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Wholesale Cannabis Spot Index for June 13, 2025

July 2025 Implied Forward assessed up $5 to $1,000 per pound.

At $1,000 per pound, the July Implied Forward represents a discount of 6.4% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $1,068 per pound. The U.S. Spot Index averaged $993 and $1,000 in July and August, respectively, in 2024.
