The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased by 1.8% to $1,100 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.43.


The Connecticut Cannabis Spot Index fell 7.8% per pound to open July. This marks the lowest price valuation for the state in 2025 and is 4.3% below the 2025 average price per pound.

The Oregon Cannabis Spot Index was held at bay this week, losing just $1 per pound. Movement did occur at the grow type pricing level though, with outdoor flower prices continuing to erode and the greenhouse index shedding 7.5%. Rising indoor flower prices offset the losses for products grown using natural light.

The Rhode Island Cannabis Spot Index decreased by 1.4% per pound this week. Despite this week’s decline, the state index remains in a healthy position, 14.7% higher than the 2025 average price per pound and just slightly lower than the 2024 average price per pound during June and July.

January 2026 Implied Forward initially assessed at $1,020 per pound.

At $1,020 per pound, the August Implied Forward represents a discount of 7.3% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $1,100 per pound. For context, in 2024, the U.S. Spot Price declined 6.8% from the first week of August to the last week of August.
