Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Spot Price History & Forward Curve January 30, 2026

The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased 1.6% to $1,003 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.21.


The Colorado Cannabis Spot Index experienced its steepest percentage decline since over two months ago, this week dropping 6.5% per pound. Both bulk and prepackaged flower product pricing saw declines, by 5.2% and 5.9%, respectively. Prices for indoor grown flower sold in prepackaged units lost 3.0% per pound. Although the prepackaged flower market is less robust than that for bulk flower in the state, price fluctuations still impact the individual and state indexes.

The Massachusetts Cannabis Spot Index declined by 2.1% per pound this week. This is the lowest mark for the state index since mid-October of last year. Both indoor and greenhouse grown flower saw price declines, by 2.4% and 0.8%, respectively. After gradually tightening over the last three months, the indoor-greenhouse spread has now shrunk down to $8 in favor of indoor.

The Pennsylvania Cannabis Spot Index has been on a downward trajectory since May of last year. The 2026 YTD state index average price per pound sits 13.1% below the 2025 average. This week the state index fell by 3.7%.



February 2026 Implied Forward closes unchanged at $1,095 per pound.

At $1,095 per pound, the February 2026 Implied Forward represents a premium of 9.1% relative to the current U.S. Spot Index of $1,003 per pound.
