Prices across all grow types in California saw significant declines this week, driving the California Cannabis Spot Index down 10.8% per pound. This is the lowest price for the state index in the more than 10 years that Cannabis Benchmarks has been publishing weekly wholesale price benchmarks. Cratering prices for bulk indoor grown flower products were the predominant force driving the state-level loss, with the California Indoor Cannabis Spot Index losing a significant amount and also reaching an all-time low in our reporting. The state greenhouse and outdoor indexes both lost $30 per pound, which contributed to the overall loss.
The Washington D.C. Cannabis Spot Index increased by 4.9% per pound to end the week. Despite this week’s gains, the YTD average for the District sits 4.0% below the December 2025 average price per pound.
The Oregon Cannabis Spot Index saw a 5.0% decrease this week. Although the state index is in record low territory, indoor flower products are still commanding a premium nearly four times the current state index. This week’s decline can be attributed to continued sales of bulk sungrown flower priced near, or below, the cost of production for cultivators whose crops are grown outdoors.
