Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Spot Price History & Forward Curve January 16, 2026

The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index decreased 6.1% to $1,007 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.22.


The Arizona Cannabis Spot Index had positive movement for the second consecutive week, increasing by 2.3% per pound. Both indoor and greenhouse grown flower prices ticked up by 0.5% and 0.7%, respectively. Reduced downward pricing pressure from large volumes of low-priced bulk flower allowed the state index to rise, although supply is plentiful and competition has been holding the average wholesale price per pound down for the past 10 weeks.

Wholesale cannabis prices in Nevada decreased by 8.1% per pound this week. Indoor grown flower prices fell by 5.8%, while greenhouse grown flower prices lost 6.8% week-over-week. The current state index remains 3.2% above the Q4 2025 average price per pound.

After falling to a record low last week, the Maine Cannabis Spot Index was able to rebound this week, gaining 5.0% per pound. At the state-level, flower sold in bulk had prices climb by 6.7%, while prepackaged flower products enjoyed an 11.8% increase.

February 2026 Implied Forward assessed down $20 to $1,095 per pound.

At $1,095 per pound, the February 2026 Implied Forward represents a premium of 8.8% relative to the current U.S. Spot Index of $1,007 per pound.
