Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Spot Price History & Forward Curve February 27, 2026

The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased 4.2% to $1,123 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.48.


After declining for four weeks straight, the Maine Cannabis Spot Index regained ground this week, increasing by 6.3% per pound. This week’s gain pushed the February average price per pound 1.4% higher than the January average. Prepackaged flower product pricing rose by 6.7% while bulk flower prices fell by 0.1%.

Rising wholesale prices for cannabis flower grown in all environments pushed the Montana Cannabis Spot Index to an all-time high this week, a 5.9% increase over last week. The February average climbed 11.6% higher than the January average price per pound.

The Missouri Cannabis Spot Index decreased by 8.9% per pound to end the week. This week’s price assessment sits 4.7% below the 2026 YTD average price per pound. Despite the bulk greenhouse grown flower index increasing by 3.9%, an increase in the number of transactions and volume of bulk greenhouse flower traded pulled the state index down.

March 2026 Implied Forward up $10 to close at $1,085 per pound.

At $1,085 per pound, the March 2026 Implied Forward represents a discount of 3.4% relative to the current U.S. Spot Index of $1,123 per pound.
