The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased by 3.1% to $952 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.10.


The New Hampshire Cannabis Spot Index increased by 4.9% per pound this week. This is the highest the state index has been since last November. In 2025, the state composite average per pound price is up 12% from the 2024 average.

The Montana Cannabis Spot Index increased by 5.9% per pound this week, the highest valuation since early November 2024. The indoor index jumped 7.9% per pound. Transactions for indoor flower wholesaled as both bulk flower and prepackaged flower products had large volume weighted price increases this week, by 8.0% and 11.8%, respectively. The Montana Greenhouse Cannabis Spot Index also rose 7.1% spurred by a 5.4% increase in the price assessment for bulk flower.

The Michigan Cannabis Spot Index hit its highest level of the year, climbing 8.1% per pound. The rise in the state composite price was driven by a 4.9% gain for indoor grown flower and an increase of 5.5% for outdoor grown flower. Recent reports of legislation being considered to introduce a wholesale excise tax a tax paid for by retailers when purchasing on the wholesale market and used in various forms across the country have been met with pushback from state industry groups. Tax structures such as this often result in the costs being passed on to the consumer, and those against the potential change site their concerns over recreational users reverting to the illicit market in response.


Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Cannabis Spot Index for February 14, 2025

March 2025 Implied Forward unchanged at $955 per pound.

At $955 per pound, the March Implied Forward represents a premium of 0.3% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $952 per pound. For context, the March 2024 Implied Forward opened at $975 and closed at $1,045, equating to 4.8% discount and 2% premium relative to the March actual average of $1,025 per pound.
