The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index increased 1.7% to $955 per pound.

In grams, the Spot price was $2.11.


Wholesale cannabis prices in Delaware saw an increase this week of 5.5% per pound. This marks the highest price assessment for the state in 2025, and the highest valuation since May 2024. The April average price per pound is 3.5% higher than the 2025 average price.

Strong performance for indoor grown flower pushed the Massachusetts Cannabis Spot Index up 5.5% per pound this week. This is the highest price assessment for the state since the end of January. The state indoor flower index rose 8.3% per pound to end the week. The increase can be attributed to rising prices for transactions of both bulk and prepackaged indoor flower, with increases of 4.5% and 11.0%, respectively. Both greenhouse grown and outdoor grown flower saw minimal price decreases this week.

The Pennsylvania Cannabis Spot Index decreased for the second week in a row after trending upwards in February and March. The state index lost 9.5% per pound this week. Since reaching a year-to-date high for the week ending April 4th, the state index has fallen by 12.7% per pound.


Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Wholesale Cannabis Spot Index for April 18, 2025

May 2025 Implied Forward unchanged at $970 per pound.

At $970 per pound, the April Implied Forward represents a premium of 1.5% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $955 per pound. In 2024, the U.S. Spot Index averaged $1,017 and $1,022 in April and May, respectively.
